Dawn had a rough morning yesterday dealing with anxiety and nausea. She took a nap in the afternoon and woke up feeling much better. She had a lot of questions about her condition and they were answered.
I would like to clarify any confusion about Dawn leaving in two weeks. Although doctors said that she MAY be leaving University of Chicago in two weeks that is their optimistic anticipation, however we have to remember this is usually not the case. Everything with Dawn is day by day. She continues her fight and there are many factors that affect her progress.
Dawn will be going into surgery today around 10 or 11 am. They plan on closing everything and finishing up. That is the plan but we will not know for sure until the surgery is complete and we have spoken to the doctors. Let's send our thoughts and strength out to Dawn for a good day!

Dawn,
You are in our prayers every day. Even though we haven't seen each other in years, you were always such a good person and friend. You are loved by so many, and know that we think of you often.
Love always,
Scott and Heather (Fiala) Miller
