Dawn got some much needed rest yesterday afternoon for over 3 hours. Because of the benefit committee meeting, she had visits from friends and family who she had not seen for a while. She was sad at first and said "it just sucks seeing everyone when all I can do is sit in this bed!", but later she enjoyed conversations with friends and family. She was very alert yesterday and did not seem to be too focused on her pain. She ate some soup and crackers, which was the most I've seen her eat in a week.

The benefit committees have been created and contact information for each committee will be posted on the website very soon so that you may contribute any services you may have to offer. The meeting went very well and we are all very excited to raise some money for Dawn!
