They removed the tracheal tube today to see if Dawn could speak, but the doctors said she is too weak and it requires a lot of air pressure. Therefore, they put the tracheal tube back in. She is not ready yet but hopefully soon.
So happy to hear such wonderful news this morning. I was laughing that Dawn was still making her "Dawn" faces - I love that!! Dawn, keep fighting..and it won't be long til we can see you. You better rest up while you can, since you are going to have many visitors!!! Lots of hugs to you.
